Dark Room

In a dark room,

that’s where you’ll find me.

Staring into space,

to the depths of the universe,

that many do not see.

The darkness cradles,

as my still form succumbs to the darkness that invades.

Invading my perceptions of reality.

Implementing a pure vision of morality.

In a dark room,

that’s where you’ll find me.

Shining ever so bright, creating effortless light.

Thoughts colliding, complementing the night.

Tides of emotion,

lasting all night.

My night, one which I own,

yet to touch.

In a dark room,

that’s where you’ll find me,

rolling on my axis,

performing for the overlooking planets.

Whose eyes pierce through the darkness.

Filled with wonder,

in awe with my racing thoughts and movement.

Intrigued, by the way I welcome the darkness with open hands.

Hands heavy, with the treasures of life.

In a dark room,

that’s where you’ll find me,

recharging from the wanting world.

A world that knows no peace.

In a dark room.

That’s where you’ll find me.
